What is The Practicing Witch?

The Practicing Witch is a collection of books, journals, calendars and practical witchcraft resources created by Bec Black of Witchcraft Spells Magick.

Each title explores a different aspect of practice, from lunar and seasonal witchcraft to plant magick, dreams, journalling, spellcraft and personal record keeping.

The collection includes titles such as:

Do I need to use the books together?

No. Every title is designed to work independently.

You can choose the book or journal that best suits your practice, or use several together to build a more detailed personal system of witchcraft record keeping.

Are The Practicing Witch books suitable for beginners?

Yes. The collection is designed for both new and experienced practitioners.

Some books offer more guidance and structure, while others provide greater freedom for recording your own spells, rituals, observations, correspondences and personal practice.

Are these Books of Shadows or grimoires?

What is The Practicing Witch Diary?

The Practicing Witch Diary is the bestselling annual title in The Practicing Witch collection.

It combines a dated diary with lunar and seasonal witchcraft, tarot, spellcraft, ritual planning, correspondences and dedicated pages for recording your own practice.

Each edition is created for one calendar year.

What is a Witch’s Book of Shadows?

A Book of Shadows is a personal record of witchcraft practice. It may contain spells, rituals, correspondences, divination, dreams, signs, omens, observations and experiences gathered over time.

The Practicing Witch Diary combines the practical structure of a dated diary with the depth of a personal Book of Shadows.

Is The Practicing Witch Diary a dated diary?

Yes.

The 2027 edition includes dated monthly and weekly pages alongside lunar practice, seasonal witchcraft, tarot, ritual, spellwork and personal record keeping.

Can I track moon phases inside the diary?

Yes. Moon phases, full moons and lunar practice are incorporated throughout the diary.

Does the diary include tarot?

Yes. There is space for monthly tarot readings, divination and intuitive reflection.

Can I use the diary as a grimoire?

Yes. Many readers use their annual diary as a working grimoire or Book of Shadows, recording spells, rituals, moon work, plants, dreams, signs, omens and magickal results throughout the year.

The Practicing Witch Botanical Grimoire is designed for developing and recording a personal practice of plant magick.

It provides structured space for botanical correspondences, individual plant records, observations and botanical practices, allowing the book to develop into your own working plant grimoire.

What is The Serpent’s Path Practice Journal?

The Serpent’s Path Practice Journal is a dedicated journal for personal witchcraft practice and reflection.

Its dotted and numbered pages allow you to use it freely for spellcraft, ritual notes, correspondences, research, divination, observations or as an evolving Book of Shadows.

What is the Dream Journal?

The Practicing Witch Dream Journal is designed for recording dreams, symbols, recurring imagery, intuitive impressions and patterns that emerge over time.

It can be used as a standalone dream journal or alongside other books in The Practicing Witch collection.

Are the journals dated?

Unless specifically described as dated on the product page, the journals and grimoires are undated.

This means you can begin at any time and work through them at your own pace.

Calendars

What are The Practicing Witch calendars?

The calendar collection brings witchcraft into everyday planning through lunar, spellcraft and seasonal themes.

Individual calendar editions vary, so please check the product description for the exact content, size and format included.

Are the calendars hemisphere-specific?

This depends on the calendar.

The Practicing Witch Diary is produced in separate Northern and Southern Hemisphere editions because its seasonal material follows the Wheel of the Year.

Calendars that are intended for both hemispheres are designed so their core spellcraft or practice remains relevant regardless of season.

The individual product page will always state whether you need to choose a hemisphere.

Northern & Southern Hemisphere Editions

Which hemisphere edition of the Diary should I choose?

Choose the edition that corresponds with the seasonal cycle where you live.

Northern Hemisphere Edition
USA, Canada, UK, Europe and most of Asia.

Southern Hemisphere Edition
Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and other Southern Hemisphere locations.

The two editions follow different seasonal cycles and Wheel of the Year dates.

Do all The Practicing Witch books have two hemisphere editions?

No.

Only products whose content depends on the seasonal cycle require separate Northern and Southern Hemisphere versions.

If a product has more than one hemisphere edition, this will be clearly shown on its product page.

Are all products available in hardback, paperback and digital?

No. Available formats vary by title.

Some books are available in hardback, paperback and digital editions, while journals, grimoires and calendars may be offered in different formats.

How do I receive a digital purchase?

Your download is provided electronically after purchase, with access details sent to the email address used for your order.

Can I print my digital edition?

Digital products are intended for the purchaser’s personal use.

Where a product is supplied as a printable PDF, you may print a copy for your own personal practice. Digital files may not be reproduced, shared, resold or redistributed.

Can digital purchases be refunded?

Digital products are non-refundable once supplied.

If there is a technical issue with your download, assistance will be provided.

Where do printed products ship?

How are books produced?

Many printed books are printed to order and dispatched directly from the printer.

Local printing facilities are used where possible to reduce unnecessary international shipping and delivery time.

How long will my order take?

Most printed book orders arrive within approximately 2–3 weeks.

Please allow 5–30 business days depending on printing time, destination and seasonal demand.

Peak periods can occasionally result in longer production or delivery times.

Will I receive tracking?

Yes. Tracking is supplied for printed book orders.

You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking information once your order has been printed and dispatched.

My tracking has not updated. Is something wrong?

Tracking can occasionally take a little time to update after dispatch, particularly when an order moves between carriers.

If there has been no meaningful movement for an extended period, please contact Witchcraft Spells Magick with your order number.

My order has not arrived. What should I do?

If your order has not arrived after 20 business days, please get in touch with your order number.

Some international deliveries can take up to 30 business days.

Europe & Other Regions

Can I order if direct shipping is not available in my country?

Yes.

If website shipping is unavailable, you may be able to:

• ask your local or preferred bookseller whether they can order the title
• purchase a digital edition where available

Orders

I ordered the wrong product or edition. What should I do?

Contact Witchcraft Spells Magick as quickly as possible.

If a printed item has not entered production, it may still be possible to amend the order.

Once a made-to-order product has entered production, changes may no longer be possible.

I chose the wrong hemisphere. Can I change it?

Contact Witchcraft Spells Magick immediately.

If your Diary has not entered production, the edition may be able to be changed.

Once printing has begun, a made-to-order book generally cannot be exchanged for another edition.

I entered the wrong delivery address. What should I do?

Please make contact as soon as possible.

An address can sometimes be corrected before production or dispatch. Once an order has shipped, it may no longer be possible to alter it.

Can I cancel an order?

Because many printed products are made to order, cancellations cannot be guaranteed after production has begun.

Contact Witchcraft Spells Magick as soon as possible if you need to request a change or cancellation.

Returns, Damage & Replacements

Can I return something because I changed my mind?

Made-to-order printed products are not eligible for return or refund for change of mind.

What if my book, journal or calendar arrives damaged?

Please contact Witchcraft Spells Magick within 14 days of delivery and include:

• your order number
• a clear photograph showing the damage or fault

A replacement will be arranged where appropriate.

What if there is a printing error?

Printing faults are treated in the same way as damaged products.

Please contact Witchcraft Spells Magick within 14 days with your order number and photographs showing the issue.

Do I need to return a damaged product?

Usually not.

If a return is required, return shipping costs will be covered.

Who pays for a replacement?

Where a replacement is approved because of damage, a defect or a printing error, the cost of the replacement and its shipping is covered.

A new tracking number will be supplied once dispatched.

Are exchanges available?

Products are replaced where they are defective, damaged or affected by a printing issue.

General change-of-mind exchanges are not available for made-to-order products.

Customs & Currency

Will I have to pay customs or import charges?

Import duties, customs charges or local taxes may apply depending on your country and are the responsibility of the customer.

What currency will I be charged in?

Your store may display prices in your local currency, with conversion based on the exchange rate used at the time of purchase.
